The First Annual Goddess Week on Maui (TM)
Allow the Goddess within to emerge. Honor and celebrate the Goddess in week long activities - in a very special Goddess Temple, Ali'i Kai, the Temple built by Caroline Muir in Huelo.

Goddesses will gather to learn, share and celebrate. Bask in the sun and in feminine energy.
In addition to mini-workshops, energy circles and Goddess celebrations, we will have ongoing activities that include The Tarot of Transformation readings, Goddess wear from Bali and India, artistic banners and wall hangings honoring women.

In the beautiful Ali'i Kai Goddess Temple, space is limited. Please let us know if you are attending and we will save a space for you. Likewise if you are then unable to attend, also let us know so we can allow others to attend. Mahalo!

We will begin with a sacred ceremony of Goddess energy. Then each in turn will share their Goddess story with each other. Sharing can include the challenges of being a woman in this age for the purpose of releasing that attachment. We will share our personal awakening to the Goddess within. We would love to tape YOUR story for an upcoming book.

While these circles are for women (for now, anyway), I want to acknowledge an important distinction between female (about gender) and feminine (about energy). Both feminine and masculine energies move in all people, regardless of gender. So, really, these storytelling evenings are a way of holding space to honor and perhaps restore a sense of wholeness and sacredness in our everyday lives as women. In that spirit, I would like to share a quote excerpted from Sue Patton Thoele's book:
"The Woman's Book of Soul: Meditations for Courage, Confidence, and Spirit."

This workshop will include a demonstration of the Yang-style short form followed by practice of t'ai chi principles and instruction of the opening moves of the t'ai chi form. From Kahului Airport turn left on Hwy 36, Hana Hwy. Proceed through the town of Paia. Continue on Hana Hwy and watch the mile markers. After Junction 365 (Kaupakulua) the highway mile markers start back at zero again after mile marker 16 and the Highway number changes to 360. Continue about 3 more miles. After mile marker 3, look on the left for a bus stop with two rows of mailboxes and a phone booth. Turn left here towards the ocean. This Door of Faith Road. Go past two churches (the signs of two churches) and turn left at a sign, "Please, Slow Children, 15 miles." Proceed about 1/2 mile and look for a drive way on the right. You will pass about 9 driveways including Shangri-La and Heartfield Lane and the next drive way is Muir Lane. There are two long aqua flags on each side of the drive way entrance.
